JUST IN: White House Launches ‘Fake News’ Tracker To Expose Biased Reporting In Real-Time

The White House rolled out a new “media bias” tracker on Friday, singling out outlets it accuses of committing “offenses” against the administration after weeks of bruising back-and-forth with reporters.

The live webpage lists stories from major publications and links to articles the Trump administration says contain omissions, lies, mischaracterizations, bias, or outright malpractice.

The White House called the site a “record of the media’s false and misleading stories flagged by The White House.”

An “offender hall of shame” tops the page, along with a leaderboard tracking which outlets the administration claims push the most mistruths.

The Washington Post sits in the No. 1 slot, followed by MSNBC — newly renamed MS NOW — along with CBS News, CNN, The New York Times, Politico and the Wall Street Journal. All of them surrendered their Pentagon press badges last month after the Department of Defense imposed new rules requiring advanced clearance from officials before publishing certain information.

The administration has sparred with several of the listed outlets in court, settling with CBS and still battling the Journal.

Trump has also been unloading on reporters in recent weeks, branding a New York Times correspondent “a third rate reporter who is ugly, both inside and out” and telling a Bloomberg journalist “Quiet piggy” when pressed on Air Force One.

After being tagged as a “repeat offender” for coverage of White House controversies, the Washington Post quoted an internal spokesperson, saying, “The Washington Post is proud of its accurate, rigorous journalism.”

The Hill is also labeled a “repeat offender.”
