Immigration authorities in the United States have arrested a terror suspect wanted by Uzbekistan. The man had entered America, obtained a job as a truck driver, and was even issued a Pennsylvania commercial license. This case is expected to increase public anger over illegal immigrants driving heavy trucks on American roads.
Department of Homeland Security reported that ICE agents had arrested Akhror Bozorov, 31, in Kansas on November 9. Uzbekistan has issued an arrest warrant in 2022 accusing Bozorov of being a member of a terrorist organization, spreading online jihadist propaganda, and recruiting other people to the movement.
Bozorov’s Case is a result of an increasing number of Americans voicing concern over states granting commercial driving licenses to immigrants with suspect backgrounds. A majority of Americans believe that foreigners who have not been vetted should never drive an 18-wheeler.
Bozorov lived and worked freely in America despite these concerns. Josh Shapiro and in January 2024, the Biden Administration granted Bozorov work authorization.
The Biden Administration released Akhror Bozoro, a terrorist wanted by law enforcement agencies. Governor Shapiro of Pennsylvania also gave him a license to drive a truck. It should be obvious that terrorists illegal aliens shouldn’t drive 18-wheelers in America, said Assistant Secretary Tricia McClaughlin.
Biden and Mayorkas let countless terrorists into the country. President Trump and Secretary Noem launched ICE in order to combat these threats.
Bozorov crossed the border illegally for the first time in 2023. Border Patrol detained him but, under Biden’s policies, he was released back into the U.S. ICE has confirmed that he’s now being held in custody pending his removal.
