The Justice Department is currently investigating the Russian collusion hoax and a federal grand jury has served subpoenas to former CIA director John Brennan and former FBI officials Lisa Page, and Peter Strzok.
Strzok and Page were both served federal subpoenas by the FBI on Friday. Strzok was instrumental both in stopping the FBI’s investigation of Hillary Clinton, former secretary of state for her use of a personal email server during 2016. He also played an important role in the creation of Crossfire Hurricane – the official name of the Bureau’s investigation of allegations that Russians interfered in the 2016 presidential election in favor of Donald Trump.
According to materials released in conjunction with Special Counsel John Durham’s investigation as well as intelligence memoranda from the CIA, the investigation was found to be completely without merit. It was based on phony opposition research funded by the Clinton Campaign, and then accelerated into the CIA’s annual intelligence reports.
Strzok openly boasted in text messages to Page, with whom he had an affair after Trump’s first election in 2016. He said that the investigation “would stop” Trump getting any work done. In more than 5,000 texts, he also showed disdain towards Republicans and Trump’s supporters.
A report by Fox News states that up to thirty subpoenas will be issued over the next few days in relation to the Russian collusion ruse. According to a report from Fox News, up to 30 subpoenas are expected in the coming days regarding the Russian collusion hoax. The probe is being overseen by U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida Jason Reding Quinones.
In 2018, Justice Department Inspector-General Michael Horowitz discovered a string of anti-Trump texts between Page and Strzok. In 2017, both were assigned to Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team.
Page left the Bureau in May 2018 and Strzok fired him in August 2018.
John Brennan was referred to the criminal probe by the current CIA director John Ratcliffe because of his involvement in the bogus Russian Collusion investigation. Grand Jury subpoenas were issued this week in connection with an investigation of Brennan’s alleged false statements made to Congress. It is not clear whether or not the current investigation is related.
Ratcliffe declassified a “lessons-learned” memo that concluded the 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment, which served as the basis for Crossfire Hurricane, was riddled by “procedural irregularities” and did not meet intelligence standards.
The report also found that “the decision by the agency heads to add the Steele Dossier to the ICA was contrary to fundamental principles of tradecraft and undermined credibility for a critical judgment.”
This infamous dossier, a document containing salacious allegations and debunked ones against President Trump that was commissioned and funded by Fusion GPS on behalf of Hillary Clinton and her campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination and by the DNC has been discredited.
Brennan’s declassified records show that he did in fact push to include the Steele Dossier in the 2017 ICA. This is in direct contradiction with testimony he made before Congress 2023.
False statements is a part of the investigation that stems from a recently declassified email Brennan received in December 2016 by former deputy CIA Director, which said including the Steele Dossier would jeopardize report credibility.
The new CIA report states that Brennan preferred narrative consistency to analytical soundness despite these objections. When Brennan was confronted about specific problems in the dossier by two mission centre leaders, one of whom had extensive operational expertise and another with an analytical background, he seemed more inclined to accept the Dossier because it conformed to existing theories rather than legitimate concerns.
James Comey, the former FBI director is facing criminal charges. He’s accused of making false statements about his involvement in the ICA Report to Congress. He has not pleaded guilty.
