Shoppers nearby were stunned by the sudden violence.
Locked In
The store’s upgraded security system automatically locked the door.
The thieves found themselves trapped inside after the break-in.

They fired several shots into the glass to escape.
The gunfire shattered the door, allowing the mob to flee.
Police later recovered bullet casings at the scene.
Planned Attack
Investigators said the raid was carefully coordinated.
Six separate vehicles were used to bring the thieves.
They parked just 100 feet from the entrance in the valet area.
Police believe the attack was planned days in advance.
Similar crimes in the Bay Area may be linked to the suspects.
Drone Evidence

The device was purchased through a state retail theft grant.

Footage showed suspects entering and exiting their cars.
The drone tracked multiple vehicles fleeing the scene.

One juvenile was taken into custody among the group.
Raids were carried out in Oakland and Dublin.
The suspects range in age from 17 to 31.
Two firearms and stolen jewelry have been recovered.

Idiots. Get a job like the rest of us schmucks.
Why, why, why do news reports like this insist on terms like, “25 men” and “youths” and “teens?” They know very well the word they are avoiding, and anyone who sees the headline knows immediately what that word is. I never look at the pictures anymore; I already know what I’ll see. It’s not all of them, but it’s always them.™
Fatigued. So very tired and fatigued. And so disgusted with the fearful pantywaists that we elect to protect us.
