In a long-overdue reckoning for Hollywood’s liberal elite, ABC has finally taken tentative steps toward firing Jimmy Kimmel, the once-untouchable late-night host whose show has devolved into a nightly propaganda fest for the radical left.
Sources close to the network indicate that Kimmel’s recent outrageous comments mocking the tragic assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk have pushed executives over the edge, leading to an indefinite suspension of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” that many insiders believe is a prelude to his permanent ouster.
For years, Kimmel has weaponized his platform to spew venom at conservatives, from his teary-eyed rants against President Trump to his relentless attacks on anyone daring to challenge the woke agenda.
This latest scandal, where he callously joked about Kirk’s death as part of some “MAGA gang” conspiracy, has ignited a firestorm that even Disney-owned ABC can’t ignore, especially with FCC Chairman Brendan Carr threatening to revoke affiliate licenses if they don’t act. 4
The backlash has been swift and justified, with conservative voices across social media and talk radio demanding Kimmel’s head on a platter. It’s about time—the man has built his career on dividing Americans, hiding behind “comedy” while pushing Democrat talking points and ridiculing traditional values.
ABC’s decision to pull the show indefinitely isn’t just a slap on the wrist; it’s a tentative firing disguised as a pause, allowing the network to gauge public reaction before making it official. 1 Nexstar, the largest station group, has already preempted the program, signaling that local affiliates are fed up with carrying Kimmel’s toxic brand of entertainment.
This move exposes the hypocrisy of the mainstream media: when conservatives are targeted, it’s fair game, but heaven forbid someone holds a leftist accountable.
Kimmel’s downfall represents a broader victory for the right-wing resurgence that’s sweeping the nation. Under the Biden-Harris regime, late-night TV became a safe space for anti-American sentiment, but with the tides turning—thanks to leaders like Trump and his allies—the era of unchecked liberal bias is crumbling.
Calls to fire Kimmel have echoed from FCC officials to everyday patriots, highlighting how his comments on Kirk crossed into outright indecency. 6 ABC’s tentative firing isn’t just about one bad joke; it’s a referendum on the entire Hollywood machine that props up failing hosts like him while silencing conservative voices. If this leads to his permanent exit, it could pave the way for more balanced programming, or at least hosts who don’t treat half the country like punchlines.
Of course, the left will cry censorship, but let’s be real: Kimmel’s “humor” has always been a thin veil for political activism. His suspension comes amid rumors of declining ratings and advertiser pullouts, proving that Americans are tired of being lectured by out-of-touch celebrities. 3 As ABC weighs his fate, conservatives should celebrate this as a win in the culture war—one that reminds the elites that accountability isn’t optional. Jimmy Kimmel’s tentative firing isn’t the end of the fight, but it’s a satisfying start toward reclaiming the airwaves from the radical left.
From Collin Rugg:
“BREAKING: ABC broadcast affiliate Nexstar is removing Jimmy Kimmel indefinitely after he joked about the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
The announcement says the following:
“Nexstar Media Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: NXST), today announced that the company’s owned and partner television stations affiliated with the ABC Television Network will preempt “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” for the foreseeable future beginning with tonight’s show.
Nexstar strongly objects to recent comments made by Mr. Kimmel concerning the killing of Charlie Kirk and will replace the show with other programming in its ABC-affiliated markets.”
“Mr. Kimmel’s comments about the death of Mr. Kirk are offensive and insensitive at a critical time in our national political discourse, and we do not believe they reflect the spectrum of opinions, views, or values of the local communities in which we are located,” said Andrew Alford, President of Nexstar’s broadcasting division.”
“Continuing to give Mr. Kimmel a broadcast platform in the communities we serve is simply not in the public interest at the current time, and we have made the difficult decision to preempt his show in an effort to let cooler heads prevail as we move toward the resumption of respectful, constructive dialogue.”

Charlie Kirk once posted to X:
“Jimmy Kimmel isn’t funny”
He is up in heaven getting the last laugh.
