A relative of the transgender roommate of Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin says the individual harbors deep hatred toward conservatives and Christians.
The 22-year-old, who was in a romantic relationship with suspect Tyler Robinson, has not been charged with any crime.
Relative Speaks Out
The family member, who asked to remain anonymous, described a disturbing change in behavior over the past several years.
“He hates conservatives and Christians,” she said.

“He was not raised that way, but he’s become radicalized.”
The relative said her family member became more detached at age 18.
In recent years, the anger reportedly intensified.
“He has obviously gotten progressively worse the last year or two,” she added.
The relative suspects the roommate influenced Robinson’s politics.

“I think Tyler got a whole lot worse in the year they have been dating,” she said.
She noted both were active in online gaming communities.
According to the relative, the online culture reinforced their views.
“But my gut tells me [the roommate] did more of the influencing,” she said.
She emphasized that her family wants justice to be served.
FBI Response
Federal officials told Fox News the roommate has been cooperative.
The FBI said the individual had “no idea” Robinson was planning to kill Kirk.
No charges have been filed against the roommate.
Robinson and his partner lived together in St. George, Utah.

Both families also reside in the same community.
Authorities searched the apartment as part of the investigation.
Kirk’s Assassination
Charlie Kirk, 31, was shot in the neck Sept. 10 at Utah Valley University.
The assassination took place in front of thousands of students.
Kirk was rushed to the hospital but did not survive.
Robinson, 22, was arrested Sept. 12 after a 33-hour manhunt.
His father recognized him in FBI surveillance photos and turned him in.
The suspect is being held without bail on aggravated murder charges.
Authorities continue to probe Robinson’s connections and possible influences.
Investigators are examining online groups and social circles.
The FBI has promised a full review of all links to the shooting.
