A top Internal Revenue Service official has been fired after her partisan posts attacking President Donald Trump and Republican lawmakers were exposed.
Niki Wilkinson, a senior IRS figure, was ousted following Daily Caller’s report on her LinkedIn activity.
Attacks on Trump and GOP
In her posts, Wilkinson accused Trump and GOP senators of “fear mongering” over the conduct of former IRS official Holly Paz.
She insisted Republicans were “falsely describing” Paz’s role in the IRS’s notorious targeting scandal.

That scandal saw conservative groups and individuals subjected to politically motivated audits during the Obama administration.
Defending Holly Paz
Paz, a deputy to Lois Lerner, was accused of using IRS authority to harass right-leaning nonprofits and business owners.
She was placed on leave under Trump after lawmakers raised concerns over her abuse of the agency’s powers.

Wilkinson defended Paz, claiming Republicans misrepresented the case.
“Such a farce!” Wilkinson wrote, arguing the IRS audits had uncovered fraud rather than targeting conservatives.
Pattern of Rants
Her posts went well beyond a single comment.
Wilkinson frequently criticized Trump, his administration, and Republican members of Congress.

As recently as this week, she accused the president and cabinet officials of corruption.
She even claimed Trump’s pardons and involvement in redistricting could amount to corrupt conduct.
