6th Suspect Arrested in Violent Cincinnati Attack

A sixth suspect in the brutal Cincinnati mob attack has been arrested. Aisha Devaughn, 25, was taken into custody Wednesday morning and is facing charges of felonious assault and aggravated riot, according to Cincinnati police.

Devaughn was identified as the woman wearing a white bodysuit in a viral video, repeatedly stomping and kicking a male victim lying on the ground.

Graphic Video Footage

Video footage shows Devaughn entering the frame around the 9-second mark, delivering at least three stomps to a victim already down. At one point, her wig is pulled off, but she later reappears and makes physical contact with another female victim known only as Holly—right before Holly is punched in the face by a male attacker and knocked unconscious.

Holly told WXIX-TV after the arrest, “I am so thankful our police and everyone out there who are helping to save other lives by arresting these felons. Who knows how many other people they’ve been doing this to… I feel blessed.”

All Six Suspects Now in Custody

With Devaughn’s arrest, all six suspects believed to be involved in the attack have been apprehended.

  • Patrick Rosemond, 38, was arrested Monday in Georgia. He’s accused of punching Holly in the face, knocking her out cold.

  • Dominique Kittle, 37, was arrested Friday. Prosecutors say he tried to rob a male victim, failed, and then turned back to knock him unconscious. His bond was set at $150,000.

  • Jermaine Matthews, 39, turned himself in last week. He was seen punching and stomping a victim, and dragging an unconscious person into the street. His bond has reached $270,000 but he was released.

  • Dekyra Vernon, 24, was charged with punching a victim in the face before they went unconscious. Her bond is $200,000 and she remains in jail.

  • Montianez Merriweather, 34, has a long criminal history and was already out on bond for a gun-related arrest in July. In the mob attack, he was seen punching a victim while others stomped on the victim’s head. His bond has been set at $500,000.

Cincinnati police union president Ken Kober slammed Merriweather’s previous release, saying, “He never should have been out.”

Court Dates Ahead

The next court hearings for Kittle, Matthews, Vernon, and Merriweather are scheduled for Friday.

This violent group attack, captured from multiple cellphone angles, has horrified the public and drawn attention from political figures like Vivek Ramaswamy, who posted a disturbing image of Holly’s bruised face after the incident.
