11-Year-Old Girl From Texas Raped and Killed by Guatemalan Who Was Released by Border Patrol Agents in January

Last Saturday in Pasadena, Texas, an 11-year-old girl named Maria Gonzalez was raped and then killed. Her body was discovered beneath her father’s bed.

Gonzalez’s lifeless body was discovered a just couple of hours following her text message to her father, informing him that an unknown individual was knocking at the front door.

After returning home from work, Maria Gonzalez’s father found his daughter’s lifeless body wrapped in a trash bag beneath his bed.

Police arrested 18-year-old Juan Carlos Garcia-Rodriguez in Shreveport, Louisiana and he is awaiting his extradition to Texas.

Police reported that a key discovered near the lifeless body of the young girl at a Pasadena apartment complex provided the crucial clue that led authorities to the killer.

Police confirmed that the key was a match for the unit where Juan Carlos Garcia-Rodriguez was residing within the same apartment complex.

In January, Juan Carlos Garcia-Rodriguez entered the US through the El Paso border from Guatemala.

Border Patrol agents promptly released Juan Carlos Garcia-Rodriguez to his sponsors in Louisiana in January.

He then decided to sexually assault and murder a child.

A GoFundMe has been created to help the family with funeral expenses.
