Governor DeSantis called out the House GOP today for allowing Biden’s DHS to keep wasting money designated for FEMA on the illegals they keep letting in the country.
When asked by Dana Loesch about Mayorkas spending a billion dollars of FEMA money on illegals, DeSantis said it’s outrageous but we’ve known this was happening. He then pointed the finger at the House GOP for continuing to fund Biden’s omnibus and allowing this to continue.

Here’s what DeSantis said:
Well I think it’s outrageous. But here’s the thing that bugs me about this because I don’t expect anything better from Mayorkas and Biden and Harris. We have a Republican House of Representatives. We knew this was going on. This is not anything new. They’ve been spending this money through DHS on illegals since the time Biden became president. They had the ability with the power of the purse to shut off the nonsense. What do they do? They just continue funding these omnibus and continuing resolutions. So they have not used the power of the purse to hold Biden and Mayorkas accountable on any of the things – immigration, you name it.
And so yes, this has been a total farce as to how that money was used. Yes, they are going to continue to make excuses. And yes, Biden is ultimately the one who is committing the misdeeds. But man, we elected a Republican House to be able to rein in this crap and they never lifted a finger to hold DHS or Mayorkas accountable in an effective way.
This is why I love Governor Ron DeSantis. He doesn’t pull any punches even when he’s calling out his own party. He nails the GOP for not putting a stop to this outrageous waste of spending, effectively pointing the finger at both former Speaker Kevin McCarthy and current Speaker Mike Johnson. They will also make excuses for this just like team Biden. But even our new conservative speaker, who we thought would fight this garbage, has adamantly refused to use the biggest piece of leverage he has to stop this, which is shutting down the government. Boehner wouldn’t do it. Ryan wouldn’t do it. McCarthy wouldn’t do it. And now Johnson won’t do it. How do we expect to win if they won’t even fight.
We can thank the spineless jellyfish, Speaker Johnson for the missteps of the House.

I can’t help believing he was no mistake, but an intention on the part of the RINOs. Of the 5 choices, whose voting records were published before their vote, HIS was by a good stretch, the WORST! They knew full well they were electing another RINO!
Yes, as of yesterday, they are STILL down here throwing away monies meant to aid American citizens and legal residents, on those criminal invaders!
