BC Conservative leader John Rustad has been captured on video admitting that he regrets receiving the COVID-19 vaccine and accusing BC Public Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry of using it for population control.
The video was shared by the BC NDP. Rustad made these remarks during a meeting with an anti-vax group in June 2024.
BC NDP leader David Eby responded to the video, emphasizing the importance of vaccination in saving lives and questioning Rustad’s stance on measles outbreaks.
Eby also criticized Rustad for saying different things in private and public settings, suggesting that he cannot be trusted on health policy.
