A viral video captured the moment a group of New Yorkers fought back, delivering street justice to a violent thug who attacked a defenseless young woman on a Manhattan-bound J train platform in Brooklyn.

The incident took place around 9 a.m. Sunday at Norwood Avenue Station in Cypress Hills, where 42-year-old Franklin Marshall of Queens allegedly followed and harassed a 20-year-old woman.

Footage posted to TikTok shows Marshall grabbing the woman as she desperately tries to escape. When she screams for help, a group of male bystanders rush in.

“I’m gonna f*** you up!” one of the heroes shouts as the group tackles and pounds the attacker on the subway platform.

Woman Escapes as Bystanders Fight Back

Thanks to their bravery, the woman was able to escape the assault, though she sustained minor injuries to her arms, stomach, and shoulder, according to EMS.

The thug, meanwhile, was caught carrying a knife and a blackjack when NYPD arrested him at the scene.

“Somebody try to tell you something, chill the f*** out? Now you got it!” one vigilante yelled as Marshall cowered and backed off.

Despite facing multiple charges, including:

…the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office let Marshall walk free under “supervised release”, because none of the charges are bail-eligible under New York’s pro-criminal laws.
