After eliminating the top two heads of Iran’s emergency military command within just three days, Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency exposed the regime’s failed attempt to hide the identity of the third commander — and did so by trolling the Iranian government publicly on X.
On July 13, Israel kicked off its opening strike in the war with Iran by killing Gholam Ali Rashid, the head of Iran’s emergency military command.
Just three days later, Israel took out his immediate successor, Ali Shadmani, according to Ynet News.
That prompted the panicked Iranian regime to try a new strategy: keep the next commander’s identity secret.
Bad move.
Mossad Farsi: “We Know Who He Is”
The Mossad’s official Farsi-language account on X posted a public challenge to its Iranian audience:
“The Iranian regime will not publish the name of the new commander… Know that we know his actual name and are well acquainted with him. Please send us your guesses.”
That post triggered over 2,300 responses, including speculation, threats, and sarcasm from inside Iran. Some guessed names like Ahmad Vahidi, Mohammad Javad Zarif, and even Mojtaba Khamenei (the Supreme Leader’s son).
Game Over: Mossad Confirms the Name
Then, on Wednesday, Mossad Farsi publicly confirmed the name of the “secret” new commander:
Ali Abdollahi Aliabadi — a U.S.-sanctioned former IRGC Air Force deputy commander, former governor, and one-time Ahmadinejad-era deputy minister.
They congratulated the user who guessed correctly:
“The lucky winner… is Mr. Behnam. Please contact us privately to receive your prize.”
The account that revealed the correct name appeared genuinely startled, later clarifying he was independent, received no compensation, and was simply fighting for the freedom of the Iranian people.
“Hundreds of IRGC Soldiers Are Contacting Us”
Mossad’s trolling didn’t stop there.
On July 3, the agency posted yet another damning revelation:
“Hundreds of active IRGC soldiers and officers, fed up with this regime, are reaching out to us. We promise to contact you… Anyone who hasn’t received this month’s salary from the regime will be prioritized for a response.”
Translation: Iran’s military is cracking from within, and Israel knows it.
Tehran Is Rattled — And So Are Its Generals
The Quds Force, IRGC, and Iran’s broader terror network are now under extraordinary pressure, not only from Israel’s relentless precision strikes but from internal instability.
Mossad’s message is loud and clear:
