As the House Oversight Committee intensifies its investigation into the Biden administration’s alleged cover-up of the president’s mental decline, more former insiders are stepping forward — and the stories are damning.
In a new interview with Fox News Digital, former DNC fundraiser and National Finance Committee member Li exposed what she says was a shadow presidency, where Joe Biden was the figurehead and others pulled the strings.
“[Biden is] definitely complicit, but there were a lot of people behind him, like puppet masters,” Li said.
Jill Biden: the de facto president?
Li directly accused former First Lady Jill Biden of playing the central role in what she called elder abuse and a calculated power grab.
“There is no question in my mind,” Li said. “What she did was absolutely elder abuse.”
“Joe was not able to do a lot of campaign events, so Jill would come out on his behalf, acting like the president or the presidential candidate.”
She pointed to Jill Biden’s repeated Vogue covers as a sign she relished the spotlight — even as her husband visibly declined.
“If I were to pinpoint two reasons why Joe decided to run again, it would be two people: Jill and Hunter Biden. Because Hunter’s freedom was on the line, and Jill’s ego was on the line,” Li said.
Autopen scandal: who was really signing?
As part of the Oversight Committee’s probe, House Republicans are investigating the use of the White House autopen — a device that signs documents on behalf of the president, often without his direct involvement.
Li said Neera Tanden, then a domestic policy advisor, “played an intricate role” in **using the autopen when Biden was ‘manifestly unqualified and unable to prosecute the duties of the office.’”
Anthony Bernal and the Biden inner circle exposed
Li described Anthony Bernal, senior advisor to Jill Biden, as the real power broker inside the White House.
“I saw him running the White House like he was in charge, like he was a king,” she said.
“It’s just so amazing now to see him dodge a subpoena and completely dodge accountability. He can run, but he can’t hide. His name is going to go down in infamy forever.”
Bernal, who has refused to testify before Congress, was recently hit with a deposition subpoena from Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY).
Li also named Bruce Reed, Steve Ricchetti, Mike Donilon, and Anita Dunn as other key operatives running the White House while Biden faded from the scene.
Investigation far from over
As subpoenas are issued and more insiders go public, it’s becoming increasingly clear: Biden was never in control, and Democrats tried to cover it up.
“They deny the cover-up, but I had a front-row seat watching it happen,” Li said.
The Oversight Committee has made clear this is just the beginning.
